Universal central air-conditioning | water valve

Universal central air-conditioning water valve central air-conditioning solenoid valve electric two-way valve electric motor 220v 50/60Hz
It is an electrically operated valve installed on the water pipe leading to a Fan Coil Unit. Its job is to open or close based on a signal from the thermostat to control cooling (or heating) in a specific zone.

How it Works:
Call for Cooling: When the room thermostat detects the temperature is above the set point, it sends a 24-volt signal to the water valve.
Valve Opens: The valve’s internal solenoid receives this signal and opens, allowing chilled water to flow into the fan coil unit’s heat exchanger.
Heat Exchange: The unit’s fan blows room air across the cold coil, cooling the air. The water absorbs the heat and returns to the chiller to be re-cooled.
Satisfied Thermostat: Once the room reaches the desired temperature, the thermostat cuts the 24-volt signal.
Valve Closes: The water valve closes, stopping the flow of chilled water to that zone. The fan may continue to run for a short time to utilize residual coolness.
Key Features and Specifications to Look For:
Voltage: Must match the control voltage of your system (almost always 24V AC).
Type: Normally Closed (NC) is standard. This means the valve is closed when no power is applied, a safety feature to prevent unwanted water flow.
Pipe Size & Connection: Must match the existing pipes in your system (e.g., 1/2″ Female Thread).
Function: On/Off (2-way) vs. Modulating. “Universal” valves are typically the simpler On/Off type.
Media: Must be suitable for water/glycol mixtures.
