Application is simple and efficient. To use, remove the release liner from the tape, stretch it while wrapping to reduce its width to about 75%, and apply it with half-lap overlaps. This forms a tight, waterproof, and electrically insulated seal around the cable or object. Once wrapped, it is recommended to apply 1–2 layers of PVC electrical tape over the rubber tape for added mechanical protection and UV resistance.
