Made with a robust, high impact UV stable housing, multiple gland entry positions , quick wire entry, and an ergonomic design, this socket also has an LED indicator that can be seen through the hinged see-through cover which acts as an enclosure for the socket.
What does IP66 mean?
IP – Ingress Protection, relates to how resistant your product is against dust, water and debris. The first digit gives you an idea of the intrusion protection of the device so that means how well it stands up against dust and debris getting into it. The second digit is all about protection from water so if you’re working in an environment that is frequently wet or raining then this number is definitely worth keeping an eye on.
